July 8, 2016That is really good to hear that grandma isnt alone! And that the funeral went good. I had just walked in the door and sat down in the orientation when I heard someone calling my name saying you were on the phone. As soon as I heard that, I imedeatley thought of grandpa. Im happy i was here and it was sooner in my mission than later. It was hard to hear but they dont give you much time to think around here. well only about the language and the gospel i guess. My companions name is Elder Johnson. He is from Madesto California and he is awesome. He just graduated also and he is in my same mission! I might be able to send some pictures but I havent taken very many yet. We are only allowed to take pictures on P Day and it got changed to today, friday, instead of the original wednesday. We had even less time to do laundry and email today because they told us today was our assigned day to go to the temple and we just got back! It is so beautiful. Everyone had the english headphones but our district decided not to use them and see how it went. It was acutally really cool! The food has been amazing! Yes I am getting good sleep and yes I am falling asleep in class. But not fully asleep. Some random things that happened Elder Johnson and I were walking down the street and there were a bunch of birds in the road and we scared them and one of them flew into the window and died. HAHA it was funny but I felt bad! We already finnished teaching our first investigator. Bere. She was actually just our teacher but we really started to get attatched. We got her to commit to baptism and then they told us the next lesson was our last with her. It was actually hard to tell her we were not going to be teaching her anymore. I have to hurry and read the rest of your emails so im going to end this one but I will write more on others.
Love you lots, Elder Perry
